About Us

Established in the summer of 2008, the Showcase Arts Foundation, Inc (SAFI) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Dunedin, Florida, which aims to bring awareness and appreciation of the arts to the community by promoting and facilitating cultural arts education and activities through creative performances, classes, competitions and events.

SAFI is made up of several performance divisions:

• "Risque Business," a vaudeville/burlesque troupe, brings comedy and more to the community.
• "The Improv-ables" is a comedy improvisation troupe that offers a little of everything as they come up with comedic acts 'on the spot' in various locations around the Tampa Bay area.
• "The Showcase Rep Company" performs sophisticated productions as well as original works at locations across the Tampa Bay area.
• "SAFI Taffy Show Chorus" is a group of dedicated musical theater actors who can brighten up any event with songs from your favorite musicals!
• "Flower Van Productions," produces low-budget independent films that showcase our writers, actors, directors, production and post-production crew.

SAFI is also a supporter of:

• "Dunedin Showcase Theater" is a program of the City of Dunedin Parks & Recreation Department, featuring community theater actors and a Kids Theater Division. For more on them, visit www.DunedinShowcaseTheater.org.
